Danyal with two Harrier jump jets! The Harrier is named after a bird of prey — a hawk that hovers silently over fields hunting for mice. These planes do exactly the same thing: they can hover in mid-air, take off and land straight up and down, then fly at over 1,000 km/h. There is nothing else like them.

The Red Arrows — the RAF's famous aerobatic display team! There are exactly 9 planes and they fly SO close together that the wingtips are only 2 metres apart. That is the same as two cars parked side by side. They trail red, white and blue smoke and perform over 100 shows every year.

On the DLR — the Docklands Light Railway. The DLR is a train with NO driver — it runs completely automatically! Outside the window are the huge tower blocks of Canary Wharf, which is one of the biggest business areas in Europe. The tallest tower there is 235 metres high.

Inside the Natural History Museum in London — looking up at the 25-metre blue whale skeleton hanging from the ceiling! The museum is FREE to enter and has over 80 million objects inside, from tiny fossils to enormous dinosaur bones. The building is decorated with hundreds of carved stone animals.

Danyal next to a fossil display of an ichthyosaur — a giant reptile that swam in the sea at the same time as the dinosaurs. This one was found by a girl named Mary Anning when she was just 12 years old! Ichthyosaurs could grow up to 15 metres long and lived 200 million years ago.

Danyal with Dippy the Diplodocus dinosaur outside the Natural History Museum! Dippy is a copy of a real skeleton found buried in the ground in Wyoming, USA. Diplodocus was one of the longest dinosaurs that ever lived — up to 27 metres long. That is about the same length as 4 school buses parked end to end!

Dinner at Wagamama in Wembley — Danyal went for the chicken noodles! Through the window you can see the famous Wembley Stadium arch. Wembley Stadium holds 90,000 people — it is the biggest football stadium in the UK. The arch over the stadium is 133 metres tall, which is higher than the Statue of Liberty!
